The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the group, managing technical accounting, and providing commercial insights to drive business performance. This is a key leadership role requiring both a strong technical foundation and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead group financial reporting, including statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, and audits
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making, drive profitability, and optimise working capital
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with business strategy
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
• Manage internal controls, risk management, and implement financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive performance improvements across the business
• Support and lead on future strategic projects, driving innovation and delivering financial insights to ensure successful outcomes

Key Skills & Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a group or multi-site organisation
• Strong technical accounting skills, including group consolidation and financial reporting
• Proven commercial acumen with the ability to provide actionable business insights
