Interim Management Accountant

Responsibilities: As a Management Accountant, you will…

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and performance tracking
• Maintain accurate accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand cost drivers and identify efficiency opportunities

Requirements: As a Management Accountant, you will need…

• A recognised accounting qualification or be part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally in a fast-moving or evolving business
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as Sage, Oracle, SAP, or similar
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to explain financial information clearly
• A proactive and hands-on approach, with a willingness to get involved across the finance function
