JUNIOR PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Project Management team. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality project support services to both internal stakeholders and external clients. The successful candidate will assist in managing the delivery of work packages and small-scale projects, ensuring they meet agreed timeframes, budgets, quality standards, and governance protocols.
You will coordinate various aspects of project delivery, including planning, monitoring, risk management, stakeholder communication, and documentation, in a fast-paced, commercially-driven environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the delivery of assigned projects or work packages, ensuring adherence to internal delivery processes, quality standards, and client expectations.
Support budgeting and cost tracking activities throughout the project lifecycle (where applicable).
Plan and monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and escalating when necessary.
Collaborate with the Resource Management team to assign the right people to the right projects.
Ensure timely delivery of project outcomes and services to defined quality and governance standards.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers and vendors, managing their input into project deliverables.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates and governance reporting.
Proactively manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
Work closely with Sales and Account Managers to support project scoping, planning, and execution.
Take ownership of project documentation, approvals, and acceptance processes.
Project management certification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, APMQ, or PMP.
Demonstrated experience working in a structured, commercial, and process-driven environment.
Proven ability to support or manage small projects or work packages independently.
Strong experience handling complex administrative tasks with accuracy and consistency.
Effective team player with the ability to own individual responsibilities.
Ambitious and accountable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and credibility across teams.
Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation - with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Adaptable and proactive, capable of pivoting to meet changing business needs and priorities.
Committed to continuous professional development, including technical certifications and soft skill improvement.
