Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant - Sutton Coldfield

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a part-time role?

Do you have a background supporting children with SEND?

Have you previously led group interventions?

A school within Sutton Coldfield is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work Wed-Friday every week from May-July.

This role will include running small group interventions across Key Stage 1 on Wednesdays, and supporting a child in Year 1 on Thursdays and Fridays.
The child that you will be working with on a 1:1 basis has complex needs, so requires somebody who can take a hands on approach, and build strong relationships.

This role may involve personal care, however is not essential.

To be successful in this role you will require:

* Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one to one basis
* Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
* Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
