Kitchen Assistant - Part Time

We are looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our Care Home Berkeley Village located in Bamber Bridge, Preston. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help prepare and serve meals for residents. Basic cooking and cleaning skills are required. Duties to include: Support the cook in providing healthy, nutritious freshly prepared meals and snacks in line with food safety regulations.
To be aware of residents dietary needs.
To dispose of waste correctly.
Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen, including regular high and low level cleaning of surfaces and equipment.
To be a reliable & hard-working personality with a desire to learn & progress within the kitchen team. Similar experience is desirable but not essential. Part Time 20-30 hours per week, to include alternate weekends. Must also be flexible. *** We do not have a licence to recruit people from outside the United Kingdom.
