Are you a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher with a strong presence in the classroom?

Are you confident in managing challenging behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient KS2 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking primary school in WF2 area of Wakefield, This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on making a difference, particularly with pupils who benefit from consistent boundaries and engaging, purposeful teaching.

What we're Looking For:

• A qualified and experienced teacher (QTS essential) with a strong track record in KS2.
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour using a calm, consistent approach.
• Able to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Committed to raising standards and ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
• Adaptable, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to confidently manage challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and fostering a love of learning in students.
