Job Description - KS2 Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher looking to inspire young learners in a supportive, forward -thinking primary school? A vibrant and inclusive school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking a passionate educator to join their team on a part -time, temporary basis from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing creativity and energy into the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging KS2 lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.

• Foster a positive learning environment where pupils feel motivated and confident.

• Work effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupil progress.

• Contribute to wider school life, including enrichment and pastoral support.

Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching at Key Stage 2.

• Creative, reflective, and committed to delivering high -quality teaching.

• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.

• A team player who values collaboration and professional growth.
