KS2 Teaching Assistant Role in Exeter

We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to assist key stage 2 classes at a primary school in Exeter.

Your new role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you'll be an integral part of the classroom, supporting pupils aged 7-11 during a key phase of their educational journey. You'll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, support small groups and individuals, and help pupils develop confidence and independence. From literacy support to mathematical reasoning, from playground supervision to classroom prep, every day will offer opportunities to make a real impact.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred
• Prior experience working in a Key Stage 2 classroom environment
• A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-appropriate learning strategies
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small group basis is highly valued
