💷 Weekend Rate: £13.10 per hour (annual review)
🕒 Hours: 14 hours per week, Saturday and Sundays

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team, working on Saturdays and Sundays to support the smooth running of our care home. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards, supporting residents’ dignity, and contributing to a caring environment.

As our Weekend Laundry Assistant, you will:

• Wash, dry, iron, and fold residents’ clothing and home linen


• Ensure laundry is correctly labelled and returned to residents


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area


• Work closely with care staff to meet residents’ needs


• Follow infection control, health & safety, and COSHH procedures

Who We Are Looking For Someone Who is:

✔ Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

✔ Caring and respectful with residents’ dignity in mind

✔ Willing to follow health & safety, infection control, and COSHH procedures

✔ Previous laundry or care home experience is desirable but not essential
