£88.94-£95 per day subject to experience and qualifications

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Barrow-in-Furness?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a popular supportive mainstream Primary School based in Barrow-in-Furness. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. You will be providing support across year groups. The role is to start as soon as possible and is long term.

This mainstream Primary school supports children from 2-11 year old's, this role is to support across classes throughout the school with a wide range of additional needs including, ASD (Autism) and ADHD. You will need previous experience dealing with understanding ADHD and de-escalation.

They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with Primary Schools and who has supported children with additional learning needs.

This a a full time position Monday to Friday long term.

Essential requirements:

Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques

Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour

Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication

Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential

An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others

Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
