Power & Infrastructure Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Legal Counsel (Commercial) on behalf of our client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-qualified solicitor looking for a flexible, part-time position with the opportunity to increase hours as business requirements grow. The role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance at the Doncaster office and other UK locations when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.

* Provide legal support to the General Counsel and wider business.

* Maintain and manage the contract repository.

* Assist with legal compliance, audits and governance activities.

* Liaise with external solicitors, insurers and professional advisers.

* Support acquisitions, integrations and other business projects.

* Maintain registers for legal claims, disputes and litigation matters.

* Assist with data protection and compliance activities.

Essential Requirements

* UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.

* Strong background in Commercial Law and Contracts.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience

* Previous in-house legal experience.

* Construction, Engineering, Energy or Rail sector experience.

* Experience working with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.

* Knowledge of data protection and compliance requirements.
