Are you a passionate and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 11-18 with a range of needs including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)

• Speech, Language and Communication Needs

• Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing classroom support under the direction of the class teacher

• Working 1:1 or in small groups with students to meet their individual needs

• Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development

• Assisting with personal care (where appropriate)

• Helping to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working with SEND learners - ideally in a secondary setting

• A proactive, caring, and patient approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing (training provided)

• PAYE only - no umbrella companies
