NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable fostering agencies in the Cornwall area in order to help them find a Locum Supervising social worker for their team.

This is a part-time role, over 4 days, 30 hours per week that you can start with short notice and is interviewing ASAP. The role is remote working, you have flexibility to work from home, however you will need to engage in Face-to-face visits with carers. Office attendance is just for team meetings in Truro, Cornwall.

The role is to supervise foster carers and children looked after who are placed with stable foster families. You will apply the fostering regulations and National Minimum standards into your practice and use a therapeutic fostering approach.

Responsibilities of the Locum Supervising social worker:

• supervising fostering placements
• therapeutic fostering care

Requirements:

Must have in-depth knowledge of National Minimum standards and fostering regulations

Must be a registered qualified social worker

Fostering experience is a must for locum contract
