Job Title: Logistics and Maintenance Assistant - Part time - 25 hours a week

Main Purpose: Become a key player in our dynamic team! As a Logistics and Maintenance Assistant, you'll prepare and dispatch frozen food samples to prospective clients, working closely with our Technical Assistant (Complaints). You'll also maintain freezers, stock, and related equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sample Logistics:

• Efficiently re-package frozen food samples for storage in our "Cold Store" area.
• Accurately collate sample request orders using our Intranet software system.
• Pick, pack, and label sample orders, ensuring they remain frozen during dispatch.
• Handle dry ice with care, using provided protective clothing.
• Maintain freezer stock levels and ensure all equipment is well-maintained.
• Keep the "Cold Store" and packing areas clean and tidy.

General Maintenance:

• Ensure bins are in the correct location on collection days.
• Order heating oil and oversee the fuelling of the onsite storage tank.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance around the office.
• Assist with general office tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to drive due to the rural location.
• Available to work 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
