Logistics Assistant

Our client is seeking a Logistics Assistant to join their friendly operations team in Huntingdon.

This is a part-time role for an initial period of 6 months.

Key responsibilities include:

* Processing incoming goods and preparing customer orders for dispatch

* Coordinating deliveries, collections and courier services

* Supporting customer returns and repair processes

* Liaising with customers and suppliers to provide updates on orders and deliveries

* Assisting with stock control and inventory management activities

* Maintaining accurate records and completing general administrative tasks

* Supporting the wider operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient service

The successful candidate:

* Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

* Enjoys working in a team environment

* Is proactive and able to manage their own workload

* Has strong communication and customer service skills

* Is comfortable using Microsoft Office applications

* Takes a positive and flexible approach to work

* Previous experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, administration or operations would be advantageous, but is not essential.
