Lunchtime Supervisor

Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor - Secondary SEN School
Location: Catford, Lewisham
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 1:30pm
Rate: £15 per hour
Contract: Ongoing - Term Time Only

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a vibrant and supportive SEN secondary school based in Catford, Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience working with students with special educational needs and is confident providing support during the school lunch period.

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting pupils with a range of complex needs during their break, including assisting with personal care, helping with feeding, and ensuring a safe and positive dining environment. You will also provide supervision during outdoor and indoor playtimes, encouraging inclusion and managing behaviour where needed.

• Supervising students during lunch breaks in dining halls and play areas

• Supporting pupils with physical or medical needs, including personal care (toileting, hygiene, feeding)

• Promoting a calm and inclusive atmosphere

• Ensuring pupil safety at all times and following safeguarding procedures

• Working as part of a dedicated SEN support team

• Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (SEMH, ASD, PMLD)

• Be confident providing personal care and lifting support where necessary

• Be reliable, caring, and proactive in supporting students

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
