Maintenance Assistant

Join Our Clients Team as a Maintenance Assistant! ????

Are you handy with tools and passionate about keeping spaces in top shape? Our client is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their vibrant facilities team in Elephant & Castle, London!

Pay Rate: £13.85 - £14.50, depending on experience

Duration: On-going ad hoc shifts

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm

What You'll Do:

• Maintain high standards of repair and cleanliness across the venue, office, and co-working spaces
• Meet strict maintenance deadlines and be a key holder for venue openings
• Collaborate with the facilities and operations teams to enhance our environments
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks to ensure compliance with regulations
• Handle maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work
• Liaise with contractors and manage deliveries effectively
• Be flexible and ready for any ad-hoc requests!

What We're Looking For:

• 5 years of experience in maintenance roles
• Skills in painting, decorating, plumbing and carpentry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
• A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
