Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our UK team and support the smooth day-to-day operations of our kitchen and facility. You will be responsible for carrying out routine checks and fixing issues as they arise, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks across the facility
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Plan and organise preventative maintenance activities and weekly maintenance schedules
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues
• Support basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related tasks
• Track and report on completed maintenance and upcoming needs
• Liaise with suppliers for basic spare parts or minor repairs
• Follow all health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Handle minor renovation or setup projects when needed

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a maintenance technician or similar role
• Relevant vocational training or certifications (e.g. electrical, HVAC, plumbing) preferred
• Health & Safety awareness (e.g. COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments)

Knowledge & Competency

• Strong knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
• Experience with walk-in chillers, wiring, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance procedures
• Proficient in using maintenance logs and tracking tools
• Basic understanding of spare parts sourcing and supplier communication
• Able to follow preventative maintenance plans independently
• Familiar with UK safety regulations and facility compliance
