Management Accountant - Immediate Start

We are delighted to be supporting a growing and ambitious family-owned business based in Rotherham in their search for an Interim Management Accountant. This business has an impressive growth trajectory, a supportive leadership team, and a dynamic environment that offers the potential for this interim role to evolve into a longer-term opportunity.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Interim Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance function during a period of transition and growth. This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to add real value from day one.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts

• Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis

• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process

• Cash flow reporting and analysis

• Assisting with year-end preparation and liaison with auditors

• Providing financial insight and partnering with operational teams

• Identifying and driving process improvements

We are looking for a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with a proven track record in a similar management accounting role. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, with strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly build relationships across the business.

• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems

• Excellent communication skills

• A 3-month interim assignment with the potential to extend
