Maths Lecturer (Functional Skills and GCSE)

Contract Type: Hourly-paid
Hours per Week: 25 (timetable to be confirmed)
Pay Rate: £25-£28 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact on learners' academic progress.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Functional Skills and GCSE Maths
• Support students in achieving their learning goals
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance

Requirements:

• Proven experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to inclusive and learner-focused education
