Maths Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to inspire the next generation? Veritas Education is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school team in Pontefract, starting in September 2025.

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students of all abilities.

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.

• Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.

• Contribute to the development of the Maths department and school-wide initiatives.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

• A passion for teaching and inspiring students in their understanding of Mathematics.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

• A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

• The ability to work well within a team and contribute to the success of the department.

• A supportive and collaborative working environment with opportunities for professional growth.
