Reed Education is seeking a dynamic MFL Teacher to join a school in Cumbria on a long-term basis. This part-time role is perfect for a candidate with a strong knowledge of the MFL curriculum, particularly in French and Spanish, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach MFL French & Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience at KS5 would be an advantage.
• Utilize strong subject knowledge to deliver engaging and informative lessons.
• Maintain excellent classroom management skills to foster a productive learning environment.
• Act as a positive role model for students, demonstrating compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational experience for students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching MFL French & Spanish at KS3 and KS4; KS5 is advantageous.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
• Reliable, committed, and interested in working with students.
• Good interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
