Job Description - Mixed Bookkeeper / Payroll Professional

An independent practice in North Derby are looking to hire into a mixed bookkeeping and payroll position. The role will be part time, with exact hours flexible for the right candidate. The firm estimate that the workload will be 1/3 payroll processing and 2/3 general bookkeeping duties and VAT returns for clients. The firm are happy to consider applicants from c.15 hours and happy to accommodate part time hours each day over 2 – 3 working days.

IT systems use include VT, sage, xero etc. The firm are friendly and supportive and can help you get up to speed on IT systems where you might not have experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping duties
  • CIS retrns
  • VAT returns
  • Payroll processing from director only payrolls to small independent companies
