Music & Geography Teacher | Barnet

A dynamic and enthusiastic teacher is sought to join a vibrant and supportive girls' school in the London Borough of Barnet. This is a permanent, part-time position commencing in September, encompassing 0.6 of a timetable teaching Music and 0.4 teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire a love of both subjects and contribute to the school's rich learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons for approximately 0.6 of the timetable.


• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons for approximately 0.4 of the timetable.


• Assess and monitor student progress in both Music and Geography, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources for both subject areas.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Music and/or Geography at the secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge in both Music and Geography.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating students.
