Job Title: New Business Manager
Location: Norwich with travel (Hybrid)
Salary: £38-42k, depending on experience, + bonus scheme

We work best with businesses looking to access new customers either geographically or demographically through the power of digital marketing.



The Role:


As the New Business Manager, you will report into and work closely with the agency’s leadership team, shaping and leading our business development pipeline and process.


You’ll play an integral role in the commercial growth of the agency, including pipeline management, proposal writing, pitching for new business and contracting. You may also be involved in upselling to existing clients where appropriate.


To enhance business development activity, you’ll represent the agency online, as well as at networking and industry events.
We are open to part-time or full-time working and are offering an incentive scheme to enhance the basic rate of salary.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Prospecting for clients using LinkedIn, Apollo and Lusha.

  • Attending industry events across the county and country.

  • Developing agency relationships.

  • Owning relationships with marketing tool providers and membership forums.

  • Creating and presenting proposals, including campaign ideas and strategic plans to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their brief and objectives.

  • Managing our new business pipeline using Pipedrive.

  • Reporting on conversations, proposals and pitches to Leadership.

  • Actively promoting the agency online and in the local community, through personal branding, networking events, industry forums, and public speaking opportunities.

  • Managing the smooth and seamless handover of accounts to Account Managers once won.

  • Experiment with outreach and engagement formats by collaborating with our team to market our agency effectively.



Requirements:



  • Proven experience in a Business Development role.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Understanding of marketing strategies and campaign management is useful but not required.

  • Proven ability to manage oneself to targets including outreach, pipeline value and conversion percentage and value.

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Confident networking and representing the agency at e



What we’ll offer you



  • Full-time or part-time, permanent, flexible working, one-two days a week at home.

    • Please note this role will predominantly require you to meet with prospects so flexible working from home may only be possible at certain times.



  • £38k-£42k basic with a generous incentive as a percentage of TCV based on new client wins.

  • You must be based in Norwich, or within easy commutable distance, as our office is in Norwich city centre.

  • Monthly budget for travel and attendance at events.

  • 27 days annual holiday plus bank holidays; with one extra day of holiday per year completed (up to a maximum of 29 days holiday).
