NHS Receptionist - Weekend

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for experienced NHS Receptionists to support Community Paediatrics clinics within an NHS Trust. This is a temporary weekend-only opportunity, welcoming children and families, checking patients in and providing reception support to ensure clinics run smoothly.

⏰ Hours: Weekends only
📅 Contract: Temporary – regular weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome children, parents and families attending Community Paediatrics clinics.

*

Check patients in on arrival and update patient records.

*

Provide general reception and administrative support.

*

Work alongside Community Paediatric Consultants to ensure clinics run efficiently.

*

Help manage patient flow and minimise waiting times.

*

Answer queries and direct families to the appropriate clinic areas.

*

Maintain a welcoming, friendly and professional reception environment.

*

Clean and sanitise toys used during clinics to maintain hygiene standards.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience working as a receptionist within an NHS Trust.

*

Experience using the RiO patient administration system is highly desirable.

*

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

*

Experience dealing with children, families and members of the public.

*

Reliable with the ability to commit to regular weekend shifts.
