🌿 Nurture Teachers – Wigan

£26–£30 per hour (PAYE) | Flexible Hours | Immediate Start

We’re looking for compassionate, experienced QTS teachers across EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to deliver one-to-one teaching for pupils currently outside mainstream education in Wigan.

Teaching takes place in calm, nurturing environments such as students’ homes, local libraries, or community centres. You’ll have the time and space to focus on what truly matters: building trust, confidence, and a love of learning.

What You’ll Do

Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 sessions in core subjects (English, Maths and more)

Support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing

*

Create calm, structured, nurturing learning environments

*

Use trauma-informed and relationship-led approaches

*

Work collaboratively with families, schools and professionals

About You

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience in EYFS, Primary or Secondary settings (KS1–KS4)

*

Confident supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or EBSA

*

Empathetic, adaptable and student-centred

*

Passionate about nurture-based practice (training provided)
