As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our employees. You will be responsible for assessing and managing workplace health risks, providing medical advice, and implementing preventive measures to enhance occupational health and safety. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will collaborate closely with management and HR to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures. You will be involved in conducting health assessments, providing advice on health-related issues, and supporting employees in returning to work after illness or injury. Your expertise and guidance will ensure compliance with legislation and best practices, as well as contribute to improving employee well-being and productivity. Conduct health assessments and risk assessments in the workplace
Provide occupational health advice and support to employees and management
Develop and implement health promotion and wellness programs
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of occupational health programs
Assess and manage workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
Support employees in returning to work after illness or injury
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in occupational health or a related field
Minimum of [X] years of experience in occupational health
Professional certification in occupational health (e.g., COHN) preferred
In-depth knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in using occupational health software and computer systems
Availability for occasional travel to multiple locations as needed. Hours Per Week: 15.00

Pay Per Hour: £18.81
