Job Vacancy: On-Call Handler / Out-of-Hours Consultant
Location: Remote / On-Call
Hours: Every Sunday - 05:30am - 17:30pm (12 hours per week) & occasional additional hours if covering other employees
Hourly Rate: £17.75 & Holiday Pay
Are you calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident juggling multiple tasks at once? We're looking for a proactive and professional On-Call Handler / Out-of-Hours Consultant to join our dynamic team and provide essential support outside of standard office hours.
?? Key Responsibilities:Answering and responding to out of hours telephone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
Booking temporary staff into urgent shifts as per client requirements
Confirming shift details with clients and candidates clearly and accurately
Managing multiple shifts and last minute changes simultaneously
Updating systems and logs with all communication and bookings
Maintaining a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure
Confident using booking systems, email, and phone professionally
Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or a fast-paced customer service role preferred
Ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-focused at all times
Flexible work around your schedule
Work remotely with a supportive and experienced team
