Outdoor Education Coordinator

Tradewind Recruitment are working with schools in Truro and the surrounding towns, who are looking for Outdoor Education Coordinators for the new academic year.

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to work with students across year groups, encouraging progress. Some roles may include working in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis with students who need additional support.

You will be required to support students of mixed aged groups outside of the classroom, encouraging their participation and supporting their progression.

Our client schools are looking for Outdoor Education Coordinators on a full-time basis, however, they will consider applications from individuals looking for a part-time role, with a strong background in education, coaching, or youth work.

Requirements:

• Education experience, or transferable skills
• A DBS on the update service (or happy to apply for one)
• Level 2 or above qualification in relevant subject (preferred)
• A calm and confident approach to learning, with excellent behaviour management skills
