The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting Outreach Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 support to children and young people throughout Wirral.

You'll work with learners who may be unable to attend mainstream education, delivering personalised tuition while helping them rebuild confidence, develop positive learning habits and achieve meaningful educational progress.

This is an ideal opportunity for tutors who enjoy working independently and making a genuine difference to young people's lives.

Position Details

* Location: Wirral
* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

* Experience teaching or tutoring on a 1:1 basis
* Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH or those disengaged from education
* QTS or equivalent (desirable)
* Excellent relationship-building skills

To be eligible, you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
