Job Description - Part-Time Account Office Administrator


Role: Part-Time Accounts Office Administrator
Location: Pudsey, LS28
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays - 10am - 4.30pm

Looking for a Part- time role that’s the perfect mix of administration and general customer support in a busy accounts office?

In the role of Accounts Office Administrator, you will be key in providing administrative support to the Finance manager for our client and providing customers with excellent service, while managing a variety of tasks related to their accounts department. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities as Part-Time Accounts Office Administrator will include:
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance Manager within the accounts office
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks
  • Input invoices into the accounting system Xero
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Communicate payment dates to customers
  • Assist with various ad hoc accounting duties as required

Experience and Skills Required:
  • No prior finance / accounts office experience necessary – full training will be provided
  • Previous experience in general office administration is essential
  • Strong telephone communication skills
  • Confident using IT systems and willing to learn new software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-organised with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly
