Part Time Accountant (4 Days)

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of an Accountant based close to Falkirk (hybrid working) paying up to £50,000 FTE with good benefits.

The Role

The Accountant role will report to the Head of Finance, and is a varied role with the key components including:

• Preparation of monthly reporting packs & management accounts
• Preparation of annual accounts & audit including liaising with External Auditors
• Financial analysis - P&L, variances, KPI’s, cash management & forecasting
• Management of intercompany, fixed asset and balance sheet transactions
• Assisting with taxation & VAT returns
• Ensuring robust month & year-end close
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with qualified Accountants that can demonstrate a strong balance of financial and management accounting within a medium sized business. Although the preference is for a qualified Accountant, part qualified/finalist or qualified by experience will be consider.
