Part time Accounts Assistant

Our well-established and leading client who specialise in the local area are currently recruiting for a professional and driven individual to join their team as Accounts Assistant. This will be on a part time, permanent basis from their offices in Gloucester (free parking).

You will have previous experience working within a similar accounts role and be willing to join a small and friendly team working alongside likeminded individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily income entering of the commercial client accounts

- Regular setting up and execution of payment runs

- Raising quarterly & monthly invoices and demands

- Credit control

- Service Charge Management

- Monthly & quarterly accounts reconciliations

- Preparing information for accountants to submit VAT returns

- Dealing with tenant and client account queries

- Insurance and utility recharging

Candidate Attributes:

-Previous experience in a similar accounting role

-Computer Literate with knowledge of accounting systems

-Methodical and thorough approach to work

-Organised and good at prioritisation skills

-A great team player

Hour: Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week between the hours of 9am - 5:30pm

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience + benefits including a discretionary annual bonus, free parking, 22 days holiday + bank holidays, gifted Christmas shutdown
