Part Time Accounts Assistant

Temp to Perm Part Time Accounts Assistant - £13.50ph to £14.00ph

Part-time with flexible hours, 25 hours per week over 4 or 5 days

The ideal candidate will have some accounts experience. The role includes the following tasks in Sage 50.

• Bank Reconciliation
• Accounts Receivable: daily matching of received payments to customer invoices, notifying relevant departments to start work after deposits have been received, accepting credit card payments via telephone
• Accounts Payable: gathering supplier invoices, matching them to delivery notes and purchase orders, inputting them into Sage, and passing them for payment each month
• Purchasing: creating purchase orders for the engineers, with the eventual goal of also placing the orders and sourcing better pricing
• Credit Control: weekly reporting on past-due invoices, creating an on-hold list for the engineering departments, calling/emailing customers to chase debt
