Part -Time Accounts Senior or Client Manager

are working on behalf of a friendly, relaxed independent firm of Chartered
Accountants based in Winchester, who are looking to appoint a part -time
Accounts Senior or Client Manager to join their growing team.

This is a part -time
role (3 -4 days per week), offering flexibility and an excellent opportunity to
take ownership of a varied client portfolio within a supportive, personable
practice environment.

The Role

Working closely
with the Partners, you will operate in a broad general practice role, covering
accounts, tax and client management responsibilities.

Key duties will
include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
  
• Managing a portfolio of OMB/SME clients
  
• Personal and corporate tax compliance, including
  VAT returns
  
• Overseeing bookkeeping work using cloud -based
  software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
  
• Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of
  junior team members
  
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients,
  building long -term relationships
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an
  accountancy practice environment
  
• ACA, ACCA, AAT qualified, or qualified by
  experience with a minimum of 5 years’ practice experience
  
• Strong hands -on experience across accounts, tax and
  VAT
  
• Confident managing client relationships and
  juggling multiple deadlines
  
• Approachable, team -oriented mindset suited to a
  smaller, friendly firm
  

Benefits

• £40,000 -£52,000 FTE, dependent on experience (pro
  rata for part -time hours)
