General Administration to support a busy HR team.
HR ADMINISTRATOR JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced Administrator to join the HR Team at their Poole based, head office site. Ideally, the successful administrator will have previous experience of working in an HR team, or have an interest in HR and Recruitment, as a longer term aspiration.
Hours: Our client is looking for someone who can commit to 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday. There is potential for hybrid working (1 day per week from home) once this person is settled within the role.
HR ADMINISTRATOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the HR Administrator, you will be working closely with the wider HR team, taking ownership of a variety of administration tasks, to include recruitment, onboarding, absence tracking, and upkeep of employee records.
Maintain HR systems (new starter information, absence, leavers, employee records / amendments to personal details)
Support with recruitment, onboarding and induction processes for new starters (sending out offer letters, inductions plans and keeping associated records thereof)
Track absences and probation reviews from an administration and record keeping perspective
Monitor and respond to the HR inboxes – managing holiday and absence requests and other associated admin
Note taking during meetings, and update internal records accordingly
HR Administration including, but not limited to: administering of the E-Learning platform, probationary reviews, absence / return to work forms etc.
Prepare reports and other stats, as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Previous HR Administration experience would be ideal, but not essential as training can be provided.
Strong admin and Excel skills - essential
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
A good team player, who is willing to take on additional tasks, as part of the role.
Strong communication skills – you will be liaising with people across the organisation, at all levels.
Ability to maintain professionalism and be discreet
SALARY / BENEFITS:
Our client is offering a generous salary and benefits package, which includes:
Salary up to £27k
25 hours per week (across 5days)
Hybrid working – 1 day from home, once settled in the position
