Part Time Bookkeeper

FRS are recruiting a part time Bookkeeper to join an accountancy firm based in Lichfield. They want someone to work on a part time basis, working around 20-25 hours per week and predominantly doing VAT Returns for a number of clients.

Suitable candidates will be seeking flexible, part time hours around 20-25 hours per week & able to travel to Lichfield.

Duties Will Include

• Prepare and submit VAT returns for a portfolio of clients
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary records and clarify queries
• Ensure all VAT returns are submitted accurately and on time
• Monitor VAT deadlines and manage submission schedules
• Advise clients on VAT-related queries, including Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance
• Work with cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to manage and reconcile VAT transactions
