Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking to contribute your skills to a close-knit, friendly team on a part-time basis? Our client, an SME based in Cardiff, is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Bookkeeper to join them one day per week and help keep their financial operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As Bookkeeper, you’ll take ownership of some of the day-to-day financial administration, ensuring the accounts are accurate and up to date. This role offers a high level of autonomy and flexibility, making it perfect for someone seeking a consistent, part-time opportunity within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software
• Processing invoices, expenses, and receipts
• Bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with HMRC submissions
• Assisting the Financial Controller
• General bookkeeping duties and occasional admin support as needed

About You

• Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role, ideally within an SME environment
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency with accounting software
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience
