Part Time Bookkeeper

We’re supporting a well-established, family-owned construction business in their search for an experienced Bookkeeper to join them on a part-time, self-employed basis. This hands-on role will suit someone confident working independently and looking for a long-term commitment with a friendly, close-knit team. You’ll play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly, with flexibility around working days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
• Management of sales and purchase ledgers
• Invoice discount financing support
• Cash and credit card reconciliation
• Supporting payment runs and general accounts admin

What we’re looking for:

• Several years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with Xero accounting software
• Solid understanding of both creditors and debtors
• Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
• Ideally local to Altrincham area, with ability to work on-site
