Job Description - Part Time Bookkeeper - Creative

Join an exciting and fast-growing business within the Media & Creative industry, where no two days are the same and your impact will be seen across the entire team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, working closely with a passionate and entrepreneurial business that values fresh ideas and flexibility.

Please note this is a part time role and will be looking for someone to work 3 days a week.

Key responsibilities:

Managing bookkeeping duties including posting invoices and bank transactions
Preparing accounts up to trial balance
Handling accounts payable and receivable
Overseeing bank and credit card reconciliations
Supporting VAT returns and liaising with external accountants
Month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting with reporting where needed

Key skills:

Previous accounting experience, ideally within Media, Creative, or another fast-paced, dynamic industry
Ability to work independently, managing your own priorities with confidence
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
AAT qualified or QBE
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
