About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating Business Studies lessons to GCSE and potentially A-Level students, fostering a love of the subject and a deep understanding of business concepts.


• Prepare and deliver high-quality teaching materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.


• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic development through individualised learning strategies.


• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Business Studies curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and engaging for all students.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or equivalent.


• Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Business Studies, with a strong understanding of the GCSE and A-Level specifications.


• Demonstrates a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.


• Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.


• Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and/or A-Level is highly desirable.
