Part time Caretaker

We are recruiting for a reliable Caretaker to ensure our client’s building, both internally and externally, is well-maintained, clean, and safe. This role involves routine cleaning, minor maintenance, waste management, and seasonal upkeep to support a high-standard working environment. You will also be responsible for conducting safety checks, overseeing service contracts, and liaising with external contractors for repairs and scheduled maintenance.

Position: Caretaker

Hours: 15 hours per week, preferably Tuesday and Thursday (flexible)

Salary: £9,523.80 per annum (£23,809.50 FTE) £12.21ph

Holiday Entitlement: 10 days per leave year (25 FTE)

Location: Swindon

Office based role- free onsite car parking

Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure both internal and external areas of the building are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Carry out routine cleaning, sweeping, and general upkeep of the premises.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks to uphold the functionality and safety of the site.
• Oversee waste management, including the organisation and timely disposal of recycling bins.
• Conduct seasonal maintenance tasks such as gritting in winter and maintaining the gardens in warmer months.
• Complete regular safety and maintenance checks to ensure a safe environment.
• Coordinate service contracts and liaise with contractors for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
