Your new school
A Children's Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number if children parent groups. The role would be long term cover until March 2026 and would be Monday to Wednesday, 9am - 5pm and all year round.
Your new job

The Centre reception is a very busy and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting parents, visitors and pupils as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages and ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered too.
What you'll need to succeed

For this receptionist job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
