Part-Time Cleaner Peckham, London

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to provide short-term cover at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Peckham.

This position is working 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, providing 20 hours of work per week.

Duties

• General cleaning throughout the site
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning offices and communal areas
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
  

Requirements

Requirements

Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:

• BPSS clearance required
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation
  
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Comfortable lone working
  
• Comfortable being a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• Must be available for the full cover period
  

Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.

£12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | 2:30pm – 6:30pm
