Part Time, Collections Assistant

An amazing entry level Part Time, Collections Assistant role is now available in Harlow.

With a salary of £13.51 per hour, ideally they are looking for 5 days in the office, 9am - 3.00pm, 25 days holiday (pro rata), plus a host of other benefits including above average pension scheme, DIS x 2, Medical Insurance, Eyecare, an extra day for charity, plus more, this is something to consider if you are looking to break into the Collections world.

Full training is provided here to ensure your success and potential future growth in the company although we do need excellent communication and administration skills.

Here is a snippet of your new Collections Assistant duties;

• Raise Service Charge/Ground Rent/Major Works Demands
• Assist in the production of regular reports to analyse those accounts which are in arrears and relay this information to the Property Manager
• Refer unpaid accounts to a debt collection agent, following the issuance of two reminder letters
• Apply administration fees to the Service Charge accounts following the issuance of the second reminder, or referral of an account to debt collection
• Liaise with the debt collection agent in providing the necessary information to enable the debt to be collected or pursued via Court
• Provide support to the Property Management team by way of regular updates on individual accounts and Site Debtor reports when requested
• Verbally communicate with property owners when they call to query their Service Charge account
