Job Description - Part Time Compliance Administrator– Construction
Our client, a small, family-run business that is well established within the construction sector, is recruiting for a Part Time Compliance Administrator to join their expanding team on a permanent basis, based near Quedgeley. This is a varied role that combines administration with compliance management, playing a key part in ensuring the business meets its Health & Safety and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Managing Director and wider team to assist in keeping documentation and processes running smoothly while supporting the ongoing success of the business.
To apply for this position you must have previous administration experience working within the construction industry ideally with an understanding of compliance, building regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Coordinate company compliance across Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and Building Safety requirements
* Maintain compliance platforms, accreditations and client portals
* Prepare and manage RAMS, PQQs, policies, procedures and compliance documentation
* Monitor legislative and certification requirements, ensuring company documentation remains current and compliant
* Coordinate Health & Safety audits, inspections, statutory testing and external visits
* Manage Toolbox Talks, accident reporting, compliance records and document control
* Ensure subcontractor and employee compliance by verifying qualifications, CSCS cards, insurance, Right to Work and competency records
* Coordinate training programmes, maintain the training matrix, manage certification records and submit training grant applications
* Liaise with certification bodies, insurers and external stakeholders to support ongoing compliance and risk management
* Manage fleet and equipment compliance, including MOTs, servicing, inspections and statutory testing
* Support continuous improvement by monitoring compliance processes and implementing procedural updates
Hours- 22 hours per week
Salary- up to £32,000 FTE (depending on experience) + 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + holiday purchase scheme + quarterly socials within working hours + free on-site parking Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
