Hays is collaborating with an exceptional organisation seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant specialising in Accounts Receivable and Credit Control to join their team in South Telford.

Your new role
As a member of an established finance team, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Receivable: Preparing invoices, posting and allocating cash.
• Credit Control: Following up on outstanding debts, fostering strong relationships and rapport, and resolving customer queries.
• Ad-hoc Accounting Tasks: Providing support with occasional additional accounting duties as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or general accounting. You should be organised, methodical, and hard-working, with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and effectively resolve queries. Proficiency in IT, including Excel, is also essential.
