This dynamic company is known for its strong reputation in delivering top-tier talent to some of the world’s leading projects, and they are now looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join their team in Bristol.

In this part-time permanent role, you will be responsible for managing debts owed to the business, achieving daily cash and debtor targets, and improving the company’s credit control processes. You’ll also play a key role in negotiating payment terms with clients and ensuring the timely repayment of debts. The role offers continuous professional development in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.

Benefits

• 20 hours across 5 days a week
• Salary up to £30,000 pro rata
• Central Bristol location

Responsibilities:

• Set up a credit control system with clients for debt repayment.
• Negotiate payment terms with debtors and establish mutually agreed repayment plans.
• Ensure daily cash targets are met.
• Contact debtors through calls, emails, or letters to notify them of outstanding invoices and arrange payment.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure effective debt management.
• Conduct weekly reconciliation of debtor ledger accounts.
• Provide solutions and recommendations for accounts receivable queries.
• Propose irrecoverable debts for write-off or develop strategies for recovering debts in cases of debtor bankruptcy.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and credit management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
