About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly and supportive finance team within a school environment near Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in finance or administration who enjoys working in a structured, community-focused setting.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the sales ledger accurately and efficiently
• Process invoices and receipts in a timely manner
• Debt collection of school fees UK and overseas
• Debt collection for school trips an events
• Support the wider finance team with general administrative tasks

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a finance or sales ledger role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance software (e.g., SIMS, Sage, or similar)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A friendly, professional manner and a commitment to confidentiality
• Experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
